You have to be able to view Velvet Goldmine with an open mind and remember that it is an ode to glam rock .
Jonathan Rhys-Meyes does an excellent job (at only 21 as well), as well as the whole cast really.
While far from my favorite musical genre, I found the film very well done.
If you're a lover of music in general, with an open mind, you will as well.
