Review of Vehicle 19 (2013) by Rick R — 29 Dec 2014
Vehicle 19 (2013).
This is another Paul Walker film that would have been forgotten had it not been for his death in 2014. They brought out every movie he ever made, no matter how good or bad. This one is probably closer to the later than the former but I?ve seen worse, and it?s not a total waste of your time.
Michael Woods (Walker) picks up the wrong rental car upon his arrival in Johannesburg, South Africa to see his girl who works at the American embassy. Michael has just got out of prison and is breaking his parol, but has got to see her.
However, he finds that it isn?t just driving on the left side of the road that?s giving him problems, but a journalist, Rachel Shabangu (Naima McLean) tied up in the back of the van. She has information about a corrupt police force that makes her, and now Michael, a target.
