Review of Veer-Zaara (2004) by Siraaj K — 25 Nov 2007
Has its issues, but too emotional of a story not to give it 5 stars... Starts-out really cheesy, and takes some will power and a sense of humor to keep watching the first scene, and though it barely misses any opportunity to insert "India vs Pakistan" political statements, and has me wondering why does a Muslim house have a portrait of Nanak Dev, or where did they just get a random tractor - I will never know.
... But, it nonetheless gradually develops into a more and more heart-weeping story that only the most cold-hearted can ignore... Sigh...yes, I guess I'm a wimp....
