Review of Veer-Zaara (2004) by Brian S — 15 Jul 2008
One of my all-time favourite Bollywood films. The combination of a very convincing love story (something remarkably similar happened to me in real life) with its pleas for respect and human dignity represents Indian cinema at its best.
Highly recommended as a "first" Bollywood film for anyone not yet familiar with Indian cinema.
