Review of Varsity Blues (1999) by Mark J — 26 May 2008

A bit of a niche film, not only for the football but also for the way of life fervour surrounding a local football team in a small american town. still, it wasn't exclusive and was entertaining enough.

I was fairly ambivalent about all the characters but to watch a slice of life far removed from my own it was interesting enough for a few hours. the whipped cream bikini was corny as hell but hey, this film has a certain demographic in mind and needs to make a buck or two! ;-).
