Review of Varsity Blues (1999) by Alaine B — 05 Jul 2010
A very hip teen flick.
Good 90's vibe, cool music, hip actors.
Jon Voight's performance as an asshole coach is something worth considering.
The film carefully digs deep into a football player's heart and his compassion so selflessly.
The soundtrack enhances the experience 10-fold too.
It's another bonafide teenage sports movie.
