Review of Vantage Point (2008) by Ws W — 30 Aug 2014

This movie had so much potential. I was excited and anticipitated this movie since I first saw a preview for it. but after seeing it, it was so incredibly mediocre. it had some great parts, and could have had a compelling story line, unfortunately I felt that it was so fragmented that by the end of it, there were still many loose ends.

The answers never came. the performances were the highlight for me. I enjoyed Forest Whitakers performance, though I never got a good feel of why he felt so driven to pursue the action. And as far as the terrorist were concerned, you never really know the ever pertinant question.

..why. what the driving force behind their actions were. Also, I think the "rewind" feel could have definitely been done better. Or at the very least, more interestingly. overall the movie just felt incomplete.

thought when the action came in, or when new parts were introduced, it would be very entertaining and engrossing parts.
