I really liked this movie. The ending was a bit abrupt, felt rushed but it was a really good movie. Not having read the book I was not sure what to expect but the cast is stellar, i'll watch anything that has Gabriel Byrne, James Purefoy, Rhys Ifans and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers in one film.
In the end, turned out to be a well worthwhile watch. I can understand how some would say it's overly long, but hey, I love long films, so I didn't think so at all.
