Review of Vanity Fair (2004) by Rachel T — 18 Jun 2009

I saw this because it had Reese Witherspoon in it and it seemed more interesting than the usual "regency" based fare but I felt the storyline was rather pell-mell, never quite finding it's flow.

I think the actors did a well enough job although there were times where because of the story things just didn't seem right.

The story tried to follow the book and be a typical chick-flick at the same time.

The result wasn't entirely disastrous as I did at least find it somewhat enjoyable but I definitely think it could have been done better.
