Review of Vanity Fair (2004) by Artemis113 . — 23 Apr 2010
Really great casting, costumes. The music was lovely. I was happily surprised to find Reese Witherspoon can sing well! Gabriel Byrne is always magnificent, but dark. Romola Garai is wonderful, and I'm so glad she was happy at the end with her shy and loyal suitor.
Reese's character was unhappy, but got to travel the world with her admirer in the end.
