Review of Vanity Fair (2004) by Neekert — 23 Aug 2008
Good movie. Reese Witherspoon excellent as Becky Sharpe and she successfully played it with a flawless english accent. Loved the wonderful Eileen Atkins who was equally brilliant. I read the classic in school but had forgotten half of it, so this was a good reminder.
The film is a good way to get youngsters into the classics.
