Review of Vanity Fair (1932) by Lucy B — 02 Sep 2007
Having seen the film before I started reading the book, this time round it was a bit more confusing as I was aware of more of the story changes.
However the casting and costumes are amazing - I wish I looked as good as Reece Witherspoon at 7 months pregnant (her cover-up dresses are good but not always great, considering the period's love of the corset, but still better than me!).
