Review of Vanity Fair (1932) by Hayley B — 24 Dec 2007
The lengths people will go through to become established and gain status is amazing and witherspoon definitely shows that desperation ;from nothing to something and nothing again. you almost feel sorry for her but somehow luck seems to be on her side and she always lands on her feet.
What I love about her is despite her misfortune she always squares her shoulders and keeps her head high. I think there is a lesson in there for everyone. forture favours the brave. she is definitely brave in this film.
