Review of Vanishing Point (1971) by Bill W — 07 Jan 2008
There's a guy in a really hot tricked out seventies muscle car who drives as fast as he can from the east coast of the US to the west coast. On the way he picks up all kinds of interfering law enforcement types, also known at that time as "THE MAN," who do everything in their power to stop the guy.
It's an allegory for the oppressiveness of the free spirit by society and it's repressive traditions. It's also bloody good fun!
