I have always been a fan of Brad Anderson's work, both on film and on teleivsion. This film has a good cast and a great premise, but for some reason it just didn't end up being that great of a film.
One thing that annoyed me was that early on in the film it just jumped to "72 hours later" and I thought that didn't work at all; it did flashback to what it jumped ahead a little, but I thought it would have worked better if it would have just worked straightforward.
The actors all do a good job, the direction is pretty solid, and the location (Detroit) was perfect, but it was the script that really hurt this film. Overall a decent horror/thriller that did have aa few scary parts, but not a film that I was a huge fan of.
