Review of Vanishing on 7th Street (2010) by Alyssa S — 16 Jun 2011
I recently had this movie sent to me on netflix. It started out really good, making you want to know what happens next and it had some great twists. There were quite a few holes in the plot though. Why was there only one generator in the whole city? why did they show the supposable guy in chicago that was still alive only once, it was a dead end.
it didnt lead to anything. the movie made no sense There are always movies with stupid endings but this would be top on my list. The whole thing was a mystery. unless there will be a second one (which is highly unlikely) I would consider it one of the worst movies i've EVER seen.
The point is that the whole movie was based on people vanishing if they didn't have light, there were two people left as it got dark and that was it, they never reveal what was making everyone vanish.
They should have showed that in the ending somehow. I have never been so dissapointed in my life. Thie director must have vanished in the making of the movie cause there's no end.
