A disappointing movie but people with not as high of expectations still might enjoy it. The story starts off intriguing and even appears to be a good mystery suspense/horror movie but the plot is just too thin.

They could have made the movie last 30 minutes with the same results as the full 1 hour and 25 minutes that it ended up being. Everything about this movie's plot is just too vague. Leaving some ideas open to interpretation is fine, in fact sometimes this makes the movie better, but this movie does not answer anything and I mean seriously we do not know who, why, what, nothing.

The movie brings up interesting ideas such as the mystery of Roanoke and the religious undertones throughout the film especially at the end, but never do anything with these interesting concepts and at the end you feel cheated and wanting more.

This could have been a really good movie and I waited for it to give me a reason to why this film was so good, but it never did. In the end the thin plot does not hold up past the 45 minutes mark.
