Review of Vanishing on 7th Street (2010) by Ivan P — 02 Jul 2011
Really basic thriller (not sure how its supposed to be apocalyptic tho since it hasn't been established where the boundaries of the 'event' were) which had one scary scene, a cool concept, but not too much to it.
It was scary in parts if u think more deeply into it and put urself in the situation, but sitting from the comfort of my living room (in the dark at the time) it was hard to really feel the same fear as the characters.
.. it didn't help that they did really basic mistakes to get 'killed' or put them in situations where they could be 'killed'... the best part was actually reading up on what happened on Roanoke Island and 'croatoan' which were referred to in the movie and were real events that make it all a bit freakier.
..
