I was so torn with this movie. I don't want to spoil anything, but this is a film that badly needs a sequel, but I'm sure won't get one. My rating really does come from so many questions being left unanswered.

The acting by Hayden Christensen was bad as expected, but the casting was good, which saw him in a role that much like his famous Darth Vader role required a monotone type character. The best part about the Vanishing on 7th Street is the mood the filmakers created, and the use of shadow effects.

The way that even when you were watching something else on the screen, for instance paying attention to a character talking, something else creepy was going on that you might not have noticed. For instance everytime the lights were to flicker the shadows would start moving, taking the shape of claws or human forms, even the shadows of the billiard balls on the pool table.

However this movie is one where you find yourself pissed off wanting answers at the end that you're not going to get. It's the ending "The Mist" should have had (which for the record had one of the worst endings ever).

However there just id too much information being held back here, and when you get that invested in a movie and the characters in it...you want an answer.
