Supposedly (according to a sub-plot) about unexplained phenomena, but falling far short. Simply not explaining something doesn't make it "Unexplained" and this certainly is not a phenomenon.
Not enough in this to make it worth it. If this is some sort of existential thing, i'm not getting it. "Why" is not such a bad question for a screenwriter to answer.
