The Vanishing on 7th St. shows streets full of empty cloths with a few survivors left behind. This plot is remarkably similar to that flick of the '70s "Night of the Comet". Hence no originality here , but what is more upsetting is the enigma is never answered.
You are left guessing. In the end it is just another flick that will be easily forgotten.
