Review of Vanishing on 7th Street (2010) by Max H — 29 Nov 2011
It was okay. I wasn't bored but it wasn't especially thrilling either. The ending is rather lacklustre and leaves you to decide how you think it really will conclude. It was a little creepy. If you're easily frightened this might scare you (a bit), but for those of you (like me) who are not as easily scared, this won't really do much for you. The characters are pretty flat. Sometimes they didn't really make sense (especially John Leguizamo), but yea. It was okay, but nothing more than that.
What did this movie teach me? Even though I like the mystery surrounding Roanoke and Croatoan, it doesn't mean that a Hollywood movie based on that theme will actually be interesting.
