Review of Vanishing on 7th Street (2010) by Ash J — 27 Apr 2012
At first, "Vanishing on 7th Street" sounds promising. With an interesting premise and a director like Brad Anderson at the helm, the project doesn't seem like it can do much wrong. But it does.
Anderson and his screenwriter don't take the concept very far. Literally. Plus, the thrills are virtually nonexistent and most of the performances are unconvincing. The only bright spot is Hayden Christensen, who is actually quite good.
Other than his performance, "Vanishing on 7th Street" is extremely disappointing.
