I... actually enjoyed this one. Though, it is definitely not as good as the original Spanish film. Cruise does an alright job, and while the soundtrack is good on its own, its placement during pivotal scenes is definitely hit and miss.
The film does come across as overly sentimental and sappy at times, especially toward the end, which was significantly less happy in the original film. Overall, not as bad as many people are saying, but still not fantastic, especially when compared to Abre Los Ojos.
