Only one way to describe this film: epic. Absolutely epic. This is another movie that a lot of critics hate and I'm still failing to understand why. All the acting is great, all the action scenes are superb and all the horror is absolute brilliance.
So why did people hate it? Because it had too much CGI. Bullshit! It did have too much CGI but that's more of an excuse rather than a complaint because other than that everything else is great. Hugh Jackman was awesome, Kate Beckinsale was awesome, the vampires were awesome and the old-fashioned style put into the film was awesome.
Van Helsing gets a 8.5/10.
