This movie was pretty awesome when I was twelve. now I watch it and wonder how anyone involved took the project seriously (there are one or two instances where I am convinced they actually weren't).
the visual effects alone were almost Mystery Science Theater status. and the low budget on this film is tragically obvious when you hear a metallic resonance accompanying a clearly plastic stake. in all likelihood, this is the worst inclusion in Stephen Sommers' body of work.
