Review of Vampires Suck (2010) by Call I — 20 Aug 2011
Actually kind of funny, which I wasn't sure it would be considering the reviews and the ratings. It's not laugh-out-loud funny, but there are some moments of chuckledom. If only it had taken a cue from TRUE classic spoofs; Naked Gun, Airplane! Spoofs nowadays don't know how to produce real laughs. "Vampires Suck" is in need of a better script and smoother scene transitions.
The actress playing Becca definitely got her Kristen Stewart mannerisms down. And I liked the actor playing Edward. For one, he could act, and he's much better looking than Robert Pattinson. Just saying. The actors in this displayed much more talent than anyone in the real Twilight Saga, from what I've seen.
So, not a complete dud, in my opinion, but should have been a lot funnier.
