Review of Vampire's Kiss (1989) by Kate W — 24 Mar 2009

I have no idea how to approach this movie. I thought it was awful and stupid when I watched it (only got to about an hour and then I fell asleep). And now reading these reviews of the movie... people chalk it up to this great metaphor about yuppie lifestyle and a satirical, over-the-top performance by Cage.

.. but... it's so awful I really can't imagine that it was intentional. I despise Nicholas Cage, and I knew what I was getting into when I clicked on the movie. But... this is like a whole new level of awful I had not previously subjected myself to (and for good reason).
