Review of Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (2001) by Paul N — 13 Aug 2007
Superior to its predecessor in many ways, "Bloodlust" comes on like a gothic western with D as the mysterious stranger, a gang of outlaws, a kidnapped girl and a hell of a lot of supernatural gut-spilling.
Surprisingly complex, unpredictable and rewarding, this is a fine piece of animated story-telling.
