Review of Vampire Hunter D (1985) by Lestat D — 07 Apr 2007
This is the 1st anime movie I saw. I'm not that big an anime fan but I knew this was a classic and I like vampire stories. A little old, yes, but good nonetheless. The art looks dated but the story is great.
Same concept as "Blade" but with a more of a sci-fi twist. That was my only problem with the movie, since I'm more in tune with the Western vampire mythology, I didn't like how the threw some sci-fi elements into the movie.
Great anime film overall, recommended to any animation fan.
