Review of Vampire Academy (2014) by Shoshanna J — 21 Feb 2014

Ok, so after the terrible advertising campaign, I went in expecting to be sorely disappointed and horrified. Shockingly, the movie was fantastic! If you liked the book, you will love the movie. I don't know how or why they advertised it the way they did, but it stays true to the book, the story flows, it's funny at times, but not too much or so stupid as the trailers make it seem, Dimitri is actually there, Rose is badass and perfect.

They captured the world Richelle Mead wove into our imaginations in the books, the characters are who they are in the book, Mia and Natalie are slightly different than the books, but nothing that takes away.

Overall, it was great! Definitely one ho go see.
