Review of Vampire Academy (2014) by M A — 26 Apr 2014

This is another book series turned into movie, most of these projects aspire to catch either Twilight or the Hunger Games flare but till now they didn't succeed: Ender's Games, The Mortal Instrument, The Host.

.. being great books to read didn't save them from falling short moving into the big screen ... Here I haven't read the book, yet! but the thing that might top the other how likable the lead star was.

.. I think it jumped from the novel just like that and that's a big plus but to squeeze a 400+ pages into 90 min will always be a problem in these kind of projects with the rushed background the lack of the inner dialogue won't do any of these novels its justice but :/ this is Hollywood and you have to find a way to make it work :/ Anyhow :) Zoey Deutch was awesome the story wasn't that bad mixing Vampires with magic is fun :) on the other hand it lacked good twists and it was very predictable but as a whole it was slightly better than the previous fallen novels :) I'll give it a 6/10.
