Vampire Academy was much anticipated by the fans of the book series(myself included). Since the beginning of the making of the film everybody was disappointed by something and never hesitate to comment badly about it.

Now the movie is in theaters, a lot of people- critics included- are saying things like boring, or stupid, you know how it goes! Well, let me tell you! Starting from the casting, I really have one thing to say: perfection.

Everyone who ever read the books can absolutely relate the characters with the ones he/she sees on screen. The movie itself is a bit fast, but how can anyone fit 200+ pages in under two hours? The film has indeed some necessary changes (what many call "not true to the book").

Well, get over it people! This is a film BASED on the book, not the book itself! One last thing for those who have not read the books: the 1st book, thus the 1st film, is introductory to the world of the Academy.

You cannot possibly imagine what is coming up and how non- boring and not only for girly teens it is. If we have the chance to see it in sequels, brace yourselves! In the end, you will all understand what the whole fuss is all about!
