I couldn't help noticing all the oldster critics reviewing this movie and think they should all be banned simply because they are too far passed "getting it" to be credible.

Vampire Academy is actually a good attempt to condense down into movie format the first book of an excellent six book series by Richelle Mead who is one of the best young authors out there. I really enjoyed ths movie and hope it does well enough to rate a sequel.
