Review of Vampire Academy (2014) by Cecily B — 26 Jul 2014

I never read the books but I considered it but with their being so many vampire books out there you really don't know if they will be duds or not, That being said after watching this movie I might consider it.

I actually really enjoyed this movie but I think that is due to Zoey Deutch's performance. She was witty and funny and quick and I thought she was magnificent. She reminds me of Ellen Page in Juno a bit.

I kept trying to place where I knew her from the entire time and when I looked at her filmography the only thing I had seen was Ringer but she wasn't the same type of character in that. Anyway the movie isn't too much new on the vampire scale but it was still entertaining, and I will be watching the sequel whenever it comes out.
