Growing up in IL and watching this flick over and over with my sisters put the fire in my belly to move to CA as an adult. The soundtrack was awesome and I was only 7 when I first hit play. "Johnny Are You Queer, Boy" still resonates in my mind and was for sure that my boyfriend in elementary school heard, "Melt With You" in his mind when he saw me on the playground - cuz I know for sure that I did!
