Review of Valley Girl (1983) by E.j. T — 29 Aug 2008
I remember liking this when I first saw it. But upon recent viewing, it seemed to have lost the steam I found it to have the first time. There are a lot of unnecessary things that happen in this movie, but I can understand it gaining somewhat of a cult following.
The "Valley girls" were fun after all, but Cage is the real gem of this movie. The cocky bully had so much potential, but literally quit in the end in what seemed to be a kind of a Graduate-type ending, but executed poorly.
