I never got around to seeing this before. seeing it now - in 2009 - for the first time puts a whole different slant on things: some things in the movie where obviously novel at the time but have since become passe in our time.

26 years later, the music, the fashion and the technology are all dated. so it's with a highly ironic perspective that I watched this and enjoyed.
