Review of Valkyrie (2008) by Bryan N — 04 Jan 2012
It was tough sitting through a movie that you already know the ending to I will admit, but I enjoyed every minute of it. It's Bryan Singer's best film since The Usual Suspects. Tom Cruise and the whole cast give outstanding performances all throughout.
Great attention to detail went in to fully recreate a believable and imersive Nazi Germany. Sadly since the film is determined to tell the tale of the actual operation, character development is almost completely lost.
Its a shame because many of the film's characters are very intriguing. A great film through and through though.
