Review of Valkyrie (2008) by Mark W — 29 Jun 2012
Very well executed film from an historical perspective as they seemed to absolutely nail the period, costumes, weapons, and essentially all the corresponding details. Likewise the acting was brilliant absent Cruise's seeming dismissal of even attempting to use a German accent (then again, we see this quite a bit in WWII movies).
Nevertheless, I thought TC's acting, like the supporting cast, was Award-worthy. Not a film for non-WWII aficionados IMO but even they will find it (objectively speaking) a very well-done film/production.
