Review of Valkyrie (2008) by Nathan T — 10 May 2013
An honest and difficult attempt. Film comes short somehow. Not sure why... Tom Cruise may have been miscast in this, and english language does not help in a german country. The movie still keeps you in it's grips, and is well worth seeing.
It departs from regular war film. There is no display of violence just for he sake of it. The movie carries important message, but one hardly forgets that one is watching a film.
