Review of Valkyrie (2008) by Millo T — 18 Jan 2015
Between 2.5 and 3. More a historical document (which does not surprise much if you know the real history) than a movie, mainly by the character of Sfauffenberg, who is absolutely plain -a heroe and just that.
A deeper inside of motivations and less heroism would have worked much better. Curiously, though the actor who played Hitler did not have the best physic I have seen for the role, his gestures and sentences (do not know the vocal interpretation, I watched it dubbed) looked to me very feasible for the Führer.
