This is not a WWII action film, just to give a heads up. Bryan Singer finally returns to the screen in directing this intriguing, personal, and heroic account of a story that shows just how much evil can be fought even from within its own camp.
Irregardless of how much he's maybe fallen in the public eye, Mr. Cruise delivers, I feel, a sincere and poignant performance as Claus von Stauffenberg. Likewise, Bill Nighy, Eddie Izzard, and Tom Wilkinson hold prominent acting positions.
