This movie has so much potential, and it?s a shame that it doesn?t take advantage of an overall fantastic plot. The animation is wonderful, but the film relies too much on just that. It didn?t leave a strong impression at all.
The characters never really face any great danger because all the ?bad guys? are too comical to be considered actually evil. It seems that the filmmakers did not understand that children today have a very clear concept of good and evil, and they can really stomach much more mature elements than ever before.
Disney definitely missed with this one.
