Review of Valiant (2005) by Jahad R — 27 Dec 2009
"Valiant" is a cleverly plotted film with a very nice cast of voice actors who do a very good job at it. There are a lot of very interesting characters in this film who are fun to get to know and learn more about. It's a very interesting plot, it gets you into the film and wanting to see what happens next. The film is perfectly paced and seems to run at a very smooth pace, not rushed at all.
It is obvious that "Valient" is not as detailed as other CGI features out there, although I would rather have a film with a good story and characters than be blown away by CGI. Even though it may not be dazzling anyone with its animation, it is a very charming film that is sort of a surprise feature that casught me off guard with its good story.
Overall, I think that "Valient" is well worth a watch for any fan of animation and is sure to please its younger audience. I just wasn't to blown away on the visuals side of things, it was to bland of film, by looking at the poster, it looked as if it would be a colorful adventure film, but I was wrong on that one.
