Review of Valhalla Rising (2009) by Paul S — 06 Jan 2011
I felt the movie was a bit slow. You have to know your history as the film takes place around 1000 AD. Cinematography is stunning. There is very little dialogue. The director, Nicolas Winding Refn, wants you to use your imagination.
You definitely have to think outside the box for this film. In the end, the movie does come together and questions do get answered.
