Such a bore of a film with nice bits of brutality dispersed throughout so you don't fall asleep throughout the whole film. One-Eye is a slave who gets used for fighting other vikings, he is brutally good at it.
He finally kills his captors and escapes with a young boy, meets some christian vikings and then they set sail to the promised land. could have been a great film, the 1st 20 minutes or so made you feel it was going to be a good film but then it goes all pear shaped.
rating is for the sheer brutality of the violence, which I enjoy.
