Review of Valhalla Rising (2009) by Maxime V — 20 May 2012
Amazing film in that it triggered opposite impressions... I was both stunned by the astonishing photography and bored by the length of certain scenes. Anyway, this is a great film, stylishly marked by NWR's touch: slow-motioned scenes, beautiful pastel colors, peaceful atmosphere paced with harsh fight scenes, great soundtracks, and a stoical main character.
.. (ingredients found in "Drive" by the way). A work of art worth a look, definitely!
