Review of Valhalla Rising (2009) by Peter N — 23 Jul 2013

This movie is a great example of how visuals alone can tell a story. With hardly any dialogue at all, this movie tells it's story very effectively, leaving powerful images lingering in your mind long afterwards.

With a gritty visual style and a truly masterful performance by Mads Mikkelsen, this film is one to be remembered. My only problem is that the scenery can at times be very bland and repetitive and if you don't pay very close attention, you may miss something.
