Review of Valhalla Rising (2009) by Robert H — 10 Oct 2013

Valhalla Rising is a movie that is not for everyone. Although always visually striking and has a certain style, the very little amount of dialogue and pacing of the movie will leave others quite bored.

I myself struggled through parts of the movies, but really liked how the movie was divided up into various chapters. The movie is a good tale of redemption which is usually the center theme of Refn's movies and his direction does keep this movie interesting.
